In a recent interview with True Blood star, Anna Paquin, Health magazine asked her about her favorite workout.
“I do The Bar Method. Then there’s also this place called Hot 8 Yoga, and they do [Yoga Barre]. It’s like The Bar Method, but it’s, like, 105 degrees. It’s psycho, but kind of awesome. You sort of want to die immediately. I generally have this, well, if I didn’t leave sort of hating life a little, I didn’t get my money’s worth.”
Jennifer Nettles, the glam half of the band Sugarland, stays fit on the road with yoga.
“I exercise five to six days a week,” the singer admits to PEOPLE. And it’s not just about hitting the gym for the Sugarland singer, her other get-fit secret? Yoga. Nettles practices Para Yoga with famed instructor Rod Stryker, who frequently joins the band on the road. And if it’s not yoga, Jennifer is usually running and swimming. “When I’m home I try to do my weight training because it’s hard to have that amount of energy on the road when you’re not sleeping well.”
Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky has reportedly revealed that she keeps in shape with yoga and kickboxing.
She recently told People, that she likes varying her exercise routine from just going to the gym.
“I am not the person who will be at the gym all the time. Usually, I do the treadmill for about 30 minutes, or I will try to do something else,” she said.
“I love kickboxing. I have a personal trainer for it. We do contact kickboxing, she holds the pads up for me. It’s such a great workout for my core. You can think of ex-boyfriends while you’re doing it, like, ‘I hate you!’ (Laughs). I also love yoga.”
